Job Description

As Product Manager, you will play an important role in the development and execution of our mobile application product roadmap. This role is suited to someone with at least 3 years of product management and development experience looking to take the next step in their career. It is a high-impact role where you will work closely with the CTPO, and have the opportunity to own projects and make a real difference.

Using your technical knowledge, you will contribute to the product management team drive our overall product vision, positioning, and direction. Informed by this overarching strategy, user’s needs, insights, data, and research, you will then help define and deliver solutions that will benefit our end users.

Objectives of this Role

• Lead agile SCRUMs team by participating in sprint ceremonies (standup, grooming, retros, etc.)

• Collaborate with user experience designers and content editors.

• You understand the technical elements and can communicate them to those that don’t.

• You can work with product research to conduct data gathering, competitive reviews, customer analysis, and market-sizing as required.

• Work with the Engineering team to ensure that requirements are clear, understood, and prioritized, and are developed, tested and delivered.

• Define key metrics to track product usage, growth and KPIs for success.

• Develop, publish and maintain the Product Roadmap in collaboration and consultation with the broader Product Team and with key functional primes across the company.

• Work with key stakeholders (internal, external, customer) to understand customer, market and strategic requirements and translate them into Features, Epics, and User Stories.

• Work with Product Marketing and Sales to develop the product positioning, value proposition and pricing.

• Understand industry trends, emerging technologies, new user experience paradigms and competitor offerings and align product roadmap for differentiation and market leadership.

• Provide product subject matter expertise supporting lead customer engagements, customer presentations, customer user group, and industry conferences.

• Have a hands-on approach and a willingness and aptitude for working from strategic product direction to detailed requirements definition.

Experience & Capabilities:

• 5-7 years in software product management experience delivering an end-user experience for millions of users for a consumer app.

• Extensive experience developing and executing large, multi-faceted product deliveries, with a history of successful launches, across data and product creation platforms.

• Technically fluent skills in digital: social, web, mobile, apps, etc.

• A demonstrated track record of working with engineering and UI/UX teams to deliver software.

• Proven experience in scoping and planning projects

• Demonstrated stakeholder and relationship management.

• Display an understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle.

• Experience running beta programs, user feedback, A/B testing, etc.

• Proven ability to collaborate cross-organization, up and down management levels, and with globally distributed office locations.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in product design or engineering

• Strong experience in a dynamic product management role

• Proven experience overseeing all elements of the product development lifecycle

• Highly effective cross-functional team management

• Previous experience delivering finely-tuned product marketing strategies

• Exceptional writing and editing skills combined with strong presentation and public speaking skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in product design or engineering

• Previous mobile development experience

• Previous mobile UX design experience

• Proven experience working as a product developer in a non-managerial role
